Mission Statement
 
The Robert Simmons Foundation has two simple goals.  The first goal is to honor a remarkable man.  The second goal is to continue his passion for helping at-risk youth.  
 
About Us
 
The Robert Simmons Foundation is a public charity.  The foundation provides scholarships to at-risk youth entering the seventh grade.  Each scholarship will assist students and their families in paying for the students' educational costs throughout their seventh-grade year. 
 
Our foundation does not provide a traditional college scholarship.  Our scholarships support children now.  Providing financial assistance to low-income students now can ensure their future success.
 

 


 

History
 
One month after Robert T. Simmons' untimely passing, a group of family and close friends assembled to develop an organization to honor him.
 
After much discussion and many ideas, The Robert Simmons Foundation was officially formed. 
 
The purpose of the organization was clear:  to continue Robert's passion for helping young people.
